The Paller lab and the Payne lab will hire a postdoc with expertise in cognitive neuroscience to work at the intersection of sleep research and memory research. The research will focus on using innovative methods to alter sleep physiology overnight and improve waking psychological well-being. The work will include overnight polysomnographic recording sessions. We are looking for a team player with a passion for trail-blazing research, to be based either in Jessica Payne’s lab (University of Notre Dame) or in Ken Paller’s lab (Northwestern University). We will seek new ways to enhance the benefits of sleep for health, with potential connections to contemplative neuroscience. Interested candidates should send a CV and cover letter to bruce.caughran@northwestern.edu – evaluations will continue until the position is filled.
