Interdisciplinarity Committee

The ISCR Interdisciplinarity Committee aims to (1) to advise the ISCR Board of Directors, Executive Committee, and Conference Planning Committee on matters related to interdisciplinarity, and (2) to plan and promote other activities that would foster interdisciplinary dialogue about contemplative research. Activities of the committee with include (a) advising the Conference Planning Committee regarding ways in which interdisciplinary dialogue can be fostered at ISCR conferences, and (b) organizing events such webinars and in-person meetings that entail interdisciplinary dialogue and cooperation. Fundraising Committee

The ISCR Fundraising Committee mobilizes the resources that power our shared mission. We forge relationships with individual donors, foundations, and corporate partners; design creative giving campaigns; and develop sponsorships that keep membership dues low while expanding programs, grants, and scholarships for the contemplative research community. Committee members collaborate closely with the Executive Committee to turn bold ideas into sustainable revenue streams and to steward transparency and accountability in every dollar we raise.

Directors : Cheryl L. Woods Giscombé and David Vago

Student Committee

ISCR Student committee is committed to cultivating and supporting the future of young and early-career students, scholars, and researchers dedicated to contemplative science. Our goals are to connect students and early-career researchers to contemplative research networks that are not limited to research opportunities, funding lines, mentorships, and policies that support ISCR’s students and young researchers. Our student committee consists of ISCR members who collectively work with the executive committee to grow our aspirational ideas into concrete support of ISCR.
